Cantina Negrar
Cantina Valpolicella Negrar was founded in 1933, and today has over 200 members with one of the most modern cellars in the region. The cellars are located north of Verona, near Lake Garda, but the 600 hectares of vineyards cover the diverse areas of Valpolicella. The cooperative has always played an important role in the history of the Valpolicella zone - the first Amarone ever bottled was produced here in 1934 - and the tradition continues through the impressive range of classic wines they produce. The Cantina di Negrar line is the heart of the cooperative, with the best wines from the Veneto area represented. Years of research into the best vineyard sites has identified a range of crus which are represented under the premium Domìni Veneti label.
